We were initially created as the vehicle for ensuring cohesive, highquality workforce development for community pharmacy teams in Greater Manchester, with an ambition to develop further to include other primary care teams.

Patient-Centred Care Patient-centred care means putting the patient at the centre of all decisions about their healthcare. We have shifted from telling the patient what to do. Think about your practice – how many patients ask you to recommend? How do you respond? Patient-centred care is about the patient and the healthcare professional working together - with less telling and more listening - to make a shared decision about the patient’s care.
