Bri-Steel Mission Statement Bri-Steel Manufacturing is committed to meeting customer-specific requests covering Power, Upstream, Midstream and Downstream industries across Canada and internationally. Manufacturer of 14” to 36” Seamless Pipe Bri-Steel Manufacturing is the only Thermal Pipe Expansion mill in North America…

About Bri-Steel Manufacturing is a state of the art facility that produces Large Diameter Seamless Steel Pipe in Canada. Bri-Steel is capable of producing pipe sizes ranging from Outside Diameters of 14 through 36 inches, and Wall Thicknesses up to 2. 343 inches in CSA, ASTM, ASME and API specifications. Manufacturer of 14” to 36” Seamless Pipe Bri-Steel Manufacturing is the only Thermal Pipe Expansion mill in North America…

About Bri-Steel Manufacturing Bri-Steel produces pipe by a process called Thermal Pipe Expansion or "TPE". This process is performed by using an engineered-size mother tube, heating it to 900 deg C by induction heating, and pushing it over a controlled ID mandrel to expand the mother tube to a specific pipe size. After that, the pipe is tested and finished to the requested industry specifications. The TPE technology is not new to our piping markets here in North America, but is new to being utilized in North America. Utilizing TPE allows Bri-Steel to produce pipe sizes not normally produced by traditional steel pipe mills. When a 27 -inch OD 0. 965 inch Wall Thickness is optimal for your project, it is now easily available to you. There is no longer a need to re-engineer jobs to suit the manufacturer, saving time and money. About Bri-Steel Manufacturing By using TPE, rather than traditional manufacturing methods, we can change sizes quickly, allowing us to react quickly to our customers' needs and demands. It only takes 3 hours to change a pipe size, including the time to cool down and re-heat. With this efficient process, smaller order quantities are no problem to produce. Bri-Steel is able to produce Pipe from multiple sizes of mother tubes, resulting in greater flexibility in production. Utilizing Bri-Steel and our flexible production, we can adjust our production schedules to accommodate your scheduling, and make adjustments with only a week notice. That way if plans change we can adapt. Bri-Steel Manufacturing is an API 5 L, APIQ 1, PED & ISO 9001 approved facility. BRI-STEEL ESTABLISHES NEW BENCHMARK "Today marks yet another historic day at Bri-Steel Manufacturing. This was not only the largest we made but the greatest expansion, over 12 inches, " said Vern Gorman, Bri-Steel Manufacturing's Plant Manager. ( June 17 th 2013 ) "This opens the doors for opportunities to produce not only 36 inch, but also 32 -34 inch, creating even more options and opportunities for the consumers when engineering their projects. Producing standard wall is always the most difficult in large seamless production. Success in standard provides the confidence to produce all the heavier walls up to our maximum thickness. Now our production range from 14" through 36" OD with wall thickness up to 2 3/8" thick is now proven and official, " said Vern.
