AS WE FINISH THE NOVEL… • What are some current song choices that you think would fit with the characters and situations in the book? • The characters of The Outsiders are considered rebels and with this theme in mind, students are asked to take a bulletin board and convert it into a graffiti wall writing quotes that they think the characters from the novel would have written on a wall. Teachers can use a bulletin board in their classroom, or better yet, to showcase what your students are doing to the whole school, teachers can use one outside the classroom.
