Connor, Jack, CJ Energy and Molecular Building
Sun • The sun gives the energy to the plants • It starts the process of photosynthesis • Photosynthesis gives the plants their nutrients
Producers • The producer is African grassland grass • Absorb the nutrients from the sun • Give off oxygen to the organisms through photosynthesis • It gives all the consumers the nutrients they need– energy and building materials
Herbivores • Our herbivore is a zebra • The herbivore will eat the producer to take the energy • They get will get a fraction of what the tree originally obtained
Carnivores • Our carnivore is a gold and brown African grassland lion • The lion will eat the zebra, herbivore, and get a smaller fraction of the nutrients • All of their energy comes from the herbivores, omnivores, and other carnivores
• Our omnivore is a baboon • The omnivore can eat the grass, leaves, flowers, bugs, seeds, and meat • We will populate our ecosystem with these small consumers and producers • The omnivores will survive off of these plants and insects Omnivores
Facts on Our Ecosystem • The organisms and cells both need Nutrients like energy and building materials To survive. They will get this in our ecosystem From the grass and sun through photosynthesis
