Who is America Cares? • Our purpose: Facilitate live communication between Americans and loved ones serving in harms way abroad. This provides a means for Americans to show we care about our troops. • We ran many of the videoconferencing events with the troops and families you read about in the press recently. • http: //www. Support builds and manages computer networks. • We are proud to provide the IT expertise required to make videoconference meetings happen. • Our extremely unglamorous firewall system forms the base for all the excitement. • Think of Infra. We bring families and loved ones serving our country overseas together

And we need your help • We have an opportunity to build one or more videoconference sites in Iraq. • You have an opportunity to support our troops in a tangible way. • It costs roughly $84, 000 per year per site in Iraq for equipment and bandwidth. • With your help, we can make face to face family meetings almost as common as phone calls.
