Learning design needs to be changed to accommodate them. What we have done We have explored five aspects of teaching and learning that are affected by remote learning for which teachers need to be prepared to deal with: Separation, changing roles, changing capability and capacity, new opportunities and everyone’s wellbeing We have discussed under these headings what problems need to be identified, and either their mitigation or substitution Adopt and adapt a programme of actions We have further discussed options, including sharing 15 necessary to prepare yourself and your design alterations learners for effective remote learning Discover further resources for personal development A list of further resources and notes is available in support of aspects of the issues identified.
