Mobile. Circ Update • Why this Mobile. Circ release? • Mobile. Circ up to date with more recent Web Services • Sets up Mobile. Circ to eventually become Mobile. Staff

BLUEcloud Rollout • Both BLUEcloud Cataloging and Circulation Pathways are live. • Circulation videos are coming. • ISearch for Librarians and Mobile. Circ courses in progress. • January 2020 – 52, 213 transactions (highest usage so far) • Agents for at least 171 districts have been setup • Please submit your request via email to library-support@ohconnect. org to have Blue. Cloud login credentials created for you and your library staff

ISearch Updates • My Library tab now displays properly for all library-level profiles • Public notes should now be displayed on the details view • Currently investigating ways to improve AR/Lexile/RP searching. • Additional search fields are being added for 2020/2021 school year. • Both 655 and ITC 5 Genre's will be available for 2020/2021 school year. • Other enhancements are being evaluated and tested. . . more details will be shared as enhancements are finalized.

Enterprise For Kids BETA • More than 60 participants • Concludes April 9, 2020 • Catalog-only search options • For all users but focus is on grades K-2 • Purpose of BETA/Pilot Team • Should application be tested state wide? • Possible pilot for 2020/2021 school year • But … why not just keep Cat & Cat Jr? (answer on next slide)

Why can't we keep Cat & Cat Jr? • Cat and Cat Jr. are powered by e. Library, released 2008. • Sirsi. Dynix no longer providing support • No further features or enhancements • No mobile device support • Increasingly difficult to keep Cat & Cat Jr. running properly. • e. Library does not support SSL (https) so it will be blocked by more and more school access policies. • Important to find alternatives before Cat & Cat Jr. are unexpectedly unavailable.

Why can't we keep Cat & Cat Jr? • Cat and Cat Jr. are not secured applications. • Since most 3 -12 users can also use ISearch, ISearch enhancements were released in 10/2019 to improve library catalog searching. • Cat include my-library features making security an issue, so Cat will be replaced by ISearch
