Conjunctions have two types; they are coordinating conjunction, and subordinate conjunction. 1) Coordinating Conjunction Coordinating conjunctions connect items which are the same grammatical type. They are consist of And, Or, But, For, So (they areqalso called as basic to conjunction). And : Means add one thing. q q Or : Means to give an alternative. But : Means to show contrast. It is being used to introduce a clause and to subordinate the following clause to the independent element in the sentence.
