The Next to Last Final Problem We have a Bradford Pear tree in our backyard. During the night, one large branch broke off and landed on the ground. Chuck had to cut the tree branch into smaller pieces so Waste Management would pick up the branch for recycling. Waste management also will only accept branches that are cut into 2 foot pieces. The branch that fell was 14 foot long. How many cuts did he make?

The Final Problem Solving The outer side of my back patio is 30 feet long. We would like some privacy so we are going to put in some shrubs. If we place the shrubs every 5 feet, how many will we need? Chuck priced the shrubs and they cost $60 each. The cost for planting each shrub is half of the cost of the shrub. Tax will be 8. 25%. What is our final cost? PS…Chuck wants a shrub at the beginning and the end of the 30 foot space.
