As Roman Catholics we believe that Jesus instituted the Sacraments through his words and actions. We can find references to all 7 Sacraments within the New Testament which is the 2 nd part of the Bible.

As Roman Catholics we are taught that each of us is given the 7 Gifts of the Holy Spirit at our Confirmation. It is our responsibility (with the help of our family and friends) to develop the gifts so that we can use them to help make the world a better place. We also teach that for many of us 1 or maybe 2 of the gifts will be most prominent in our lives. Even though you have yet to be confirmed God is working within you to help bring the gifts to light in your life. I would like you to review the gifts on Slide #14 again and really think about which gift/s you might have. Show your parents the slide as well and ask them what gift/s they think you have.
Assignment #4 ü For Assignment #4 we would like you to write a short paragraph (10 to 15 well-written sentences) letting us know which gift or gifts you believe are developing within you. Explain why you think you have that gift. Explain what you think God is calling you to do with the gift/s. ü Please make sure to be careful that you are using proper grammar, spelling and capitalization. ü You should submit your essay in a Word Document by 9 AM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 ü Remember to email your Word Document to: rfststephencn 1@yahoo. com ü In the Subject Line of the email make sure to include: Your Full Name, Assignment #4, Confirmation Year 2
