Steps: v. Cue v. Do v. Review

Cue: 1. Name the Device: 2. Explain Rationale: how it helps them learn v. Classify characteristics of concept: v Always, Sometimes, Never v. Explain examples and non-examples v. Construct a definition 3. State Expectations: v. Notes, participation, etc.

Do: v Follow steps to create device together v Question, share, discuss, challenge, respond v Write or add information to device





Review: v Ask students how device helps them with learning v Solicit main learning points v Brainstorm other occasions to use device
