Counting, Place Value n It introduces the basic idea of counting in different bases and the place value system, associating it with the familiar base 10 system. John Owen, Rockport Fulton HS 4

Twelve Conversions n It also teaches the twelve conversion techniques among the four bases (2, 8, 10, and 16) John Owen, Rockport Fulton HS 5

Simple Operations, Equations n n It also teaches addition and subtraction in these bases. Finally it introduces solving simple equations involving these bases. John Owen, Rockport Fulton HS 6
