Personal Characteristics needed �Programming �Critical Thinking �Active Listening and Learning �Complex Problem Solving �Math �Judgment and Decision Making �Time Management �Systems Analysis �Well Written Writing

Education and Certification �Not much schooling is required, but more experience with the topic �Basic requirements is Bachelor's Degree in really any form of computer science �A lot of the training is at the job it self and learned through experience of the job, the long one hold this job the better he/she would be at it. �Having a STEM background helps as well!

Wages & Benefits �This jobs typically has pretty good working conditions and provide a decent amount of benefits when applying for it but they vary on the employer that has hired the person �A lot of them have people work independently so that they are not distracted and can get work done �The Median pay was about $79, 530 a year (pretty much 80 k)

Employment Outlook in the Future �There about 329, 000 computer programmers currently �That number is expected to decrease by 2% from 20142024 �It is expected to have 81, 000 more jobs opening from 2014 -2024 which is a fair amount.
