	EXTERNAL PARTS Is the physical parts or components of a computer, such as the monitor, mouse, keyboard, computer data storage, hard disk drive
	MONITOR The computer's monitor, or screen, is the window into the workings of the computer
	TOWER Is the central brain of the computer. It holds all the major internal components needed for the machine to function properly
	KEYBOARD The keyboard allows typed input into the computer
	MOUSE The mouse allows movement of the cursor on the screen
	SCANNER Is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image
	WEB CAMERA Is a video camera that feeds or streams its image in real time to or through a computer to computer network
	PRINTER A printer transfers data from a computer onto paper
	SPEAKERS A device that converts analog audio signals into the equivalent air vibrations in order to make audible sound
	MICROPHONE A device that converts sound waves into analogous electrical waves

	OPTICAL UNIT There are two types of optical drives: the DVD drive and CD-ROM drive
