COMPUTER LAB RULES 1. Absolutely no food, drink or candy in the lab at anytime!!!! 2. Student user ID and password must be kept confidential. No student will be authorized to go into another student’s account at any time. 3. Students will be assigned to a workstation and will be responsible for the condition, cleanliness and equipment at that workstation. 4. No cell phones, IPods or other music devices will be allowed once class begins. THEY WILL BE TAKEN AWAY IF THEY ARE OUT ! 5. Students will conduct themselves with professionalism at all times. Students will always be courteous to teachers, faculty, technical staff, and fellow students while working in the lab. 6. Plagiarism or academic dishonesty is not permitted. Students will not copy or reprint assignments belonging to another student. 7. Uploading or downloading unauthorized games or programs is not permitted in the lab. 8. Students will respect all equipment available to them in the lab. No doodling or writing of any kind on equipment, tables, chairs, bulletin boards, or posted signs is permitted. If your workstation or your equipment is not operating properly, then the student is to report this immediately! Otherwise, they could be held responsible for its condition. This responsibility may include reimbursement for damage. 9. Students may only use the internet for purposes other than credit recovery at their instructor’s discretion. 10.
