RAM • Alternatively referred to as main memory, primary memory, or system memory, Random Access Memory (RAM) is a hardware device that allows information to be stored and retrieved on a computer.
HARD DRIVE • A disk drive used to read from and write to a hard disk.
FAN • An apparatus with rotating blades that creates a current of air for cooling or ventilation and cools down anything which is overheating and keeps everything running at a good temperature.
MOTHER BOARD • A printed circuit board containing the principal components of a computer or other device, with connectors for other circuit boards to be slotted into.
PORTS • Transport layer protocols, such as the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and the User Datagram Protocol (UDP), specify a source and destination port number in their headers. A port number is a 16 -bit unsigned integer, thus ranging from 0 to 65535.

BIOS • A set of computer instructions in firmware which control input and output operations. Also BIOS (basic input/output system) is the program a personal computer's microprocessor uses to get the computer system started after you turn it on.
PCI • The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a proprietary information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards. Also a standard for connecting computers and their peripherals.
