Computational Thinking is a method of problem solving that involves using computer literacy as well as the implementation of programming and computer science techniques. Information Technology includes proficiency in common computer programs and applications. In this course, data analysis and data presentations were conducted weekly during lab to enforce comprehension of traditional computer literacy. Making Information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages Hyper Text Markup Language is a standard code commonly used to make web pages. Web browsers utilize tags, written in HTML by the programmer, to interpret the format, style and content of the web pages. In this course, web pages showcasing career plans were created. We also created a basic webpage implementing several different HTML tags affecting font style and page formatting as well as hyperlinks on photos. Desktop Publishing with Microsoft Word is a program used to create word documents. In this course, we learned how to incorporate a table of contents, images, text wrapping, a header and footer, a bibliography and bulleted/numbered lists.
