Centre of attention means there is one object in the photo that is the focus of the photo. The centre of attention in the photo stands out from the rest of the objects in the photo. The centre of attention doesn’t necessarily have to be in the centre of the photo. It just has to be the main focus.
Leading line Leading lines refers to a composition technique whereby the viewer's eye is attracted to lines that lead directly to the principle subject in the image. The lines don’t have to be straight just needs to lead to the main focus. leading lines naturally draw a viewer's attention along the paths they create within the image.
shape Shapes are defined by contrast of differing light or colour areas. Shapes exist in nature and we see these high contrast areas defined as lines. We see shapes visually and as they are emphasized by lines, they can have very complex effects in composition. Shape can make the image a lot more interesting and can be used in a million different ways to make every image unique.
pattern Pattern photography utilises elements that are repeated. The repetition of lines, shapes, tones or colour can create interesting images. Pattern is just the same object being repeated over and over again and can be used in many different ways.
Rule of thirds The rule of thirds is applied by aligning a object with the guide lines of nine equal squares on the picture and their intersection points.
framing Framing is a way to draw the viewer to the main object or subject In the image. It can be a circle, square, rectangle, triangle, it can be any shape just as long as it helps see the main feature in the photo.
