COMPLEX TO SIMPLE
Rule-1: Since/when/as যকত complex sentence এর দট Clause এর subject এক হল এব দট Clause এ principal verb থ কল ন চ র ন য়ম করত হব । Structure: Since/when/as এর পরথম subject তল দ য় main verb ing form করত হব + কম সহ ব ক অ শ। Example: Complex: When I went there, I found him absent. Simple: Going there, I found him absent. When I saw a tiger, I ran away.
Rule-2: Since/as যকত complex sentence যদ ক রন বঝ ই , ত হল Because of, Due to, Owing to, On account of ইতয দ দ য় করত হয়। Structure: Because of/ Due to/ Owing to/ On account of + verb + ing অথব fog/rough weather/cold + Extension. Example: Complex: Since there was fog, he could not go out. Simple: Because of being / Due to fog, he could not go. Since out. there was hot weather, we did not go out.
Rule-3: If যকত শরত মলক Negative complex sentence ক simple sentence কর র ন য়ম Structure: If থ ক not পরযনত তল দ য় without বস ত হব + verb + ing + কম সহ ব ক অ শ। Example: Complex: If you do not come, you will not get the pen. If you do not read attentively, you will not understand the poem. Simple: Without coming, you will not get the pen.
Rule-4: If যকত Negative Complex Sentence এরদট Clause এর subject ভ নন হল ন মনরপ হব । Structure: If এর সথল without + subject এর possessive form বস + Auxiliary verb ও not উঠ য য় + main verb + ing + Extension. Example: Complex: If he does not stay at office, I shall not meet him. Simple: Without his staying at office, I shall not meet him. If he does not follow the rules of office, I shall not help
Rule-5: ‘So that’যকত Complex sentence ক simple কর রন য়ম Structure: So that থ ক principal verb এর পরব পরযনত উঠ গ য় স সথল to বস + ব ক অ শবস । Example: Complex: People work hard so that they may shine in life. Simple: People work hard to shine in life. Rafi reads atentively so that he can make good result.
Rule-6: ‘So …. That’যকত complex sentence ক simple sentence এপর বরতনকর রন য়ম Structure: Sub + verb + so এরসথল too + adjective/adverb + that থ ক not পরযনতউঠ য য় + to + Extension. Example: Complex: They are so nice that they can not be used just at present. Simple: They are too nice to be used just at present. He is so weak that he cannot walk.
Rule-7: Though/Although যকত Complex sentence ক Simple sentence কর রন য়ম Structure: Although/though-এরসথল In spite of/ Despite বস + Subject এরpossessive form + being/having + extension. Example: Complex: Though he was dishonest, he was set free. Simple: In spite of his being dishonest, he was set free. Though he is poor, he is very honest.
ট যদ subject ক ন রদ শকর স কষ তর simpl e sentenceএপর বরতন রসময়উকত relative pronoun এব তৎপরবরত verb উঠ য য়।এব relative pronoun এরপর র adjective-ট subject এরপরব বস । Example: Complex: The man who is drowning catches at a straw. Simple: A drowning man catches at a straw.
