Tryout Dates • Clinic – Monday, March 2 nd – Wednesday, March 4 th;

Tryout Dates • Clinic – Monday, March 2 nd – Wednesday, March 4 th; 4: 45 -6: 30 • Tryout – Thursday, March 5 th ; 4: 45 -end • Clinic & Tryouts will be held in the Old Gym at NFHS • Program members will be posted by midnight on 3 -5 -15 on the NFHS Competition Cheer website.

Tryout Eligibility • Must pass 5 out of 7 classes in the fall semester

Tryout Eligibility • Must pass 5 out of 7 classes in the fall semester for GHSA eligibility! • Physical, Participation Waiver and Insurance Information must be completed before tryouts. • Current valid physicals are already on file at NFHS (must be valid through March 5 th, 2015) • Newly completed physicals and incoming freshmen physicals must be turned into Mrs. Sandra Sutton in the main office and copied in the tryout packet by Friday, February 27 th.

Requirements for J. V. Competition • • Cheer Dance Jumps: Three different consecutive jumps

What to Wear • Must wear tennis shoes, or cheer shoes, and hair must

Uniform Fitting – Tuesday, April 14 th @ 4 pm Tumble Camp: May 27 th from 4 -7 at ATA Stunt Camp: May 28 th and May 29 th from 9 -1 at North Choreography: • Varsity- June 15 -16 th 5 -9 pm and June 17 th 9 -1 at North • JV- TBD • Summer workouts are 3 days per week • Fall Practices 3 -4 days a week

Approximate Cost Obligations • JV/Varsity: $750 - $800 – will include uniform rental, shoes

Approximate Cost Obligations • JV/Varsity: $750 - $800 – will include uniform rental, shoes (if needed), bloomers, bow, practice clothes, spirit wear, warm ups, competition entry fees, music, choreography, stunt camp, bus travel, end of year banquet, competition gift *additional, optional spirit wear is not included. – Final Payment is due: – May 29 th@ Camp – Organized fundraisers are mandatory to contribute to booster funds for new mats, Sr. gifts, banquet costs, patches/awards, etc. Anything raised over the baseline amount will be credited to the athlete’s personal account.

Please consider…. • Picking the team is like putting together pieces of a puzzle. We are looking for well-rounded athletes for the competitive teams. Tumbling is NOT everything, but is strongly considered! • Making a team last year does not guarantee making the same team this year. • All decisions made by the coaches are final although we are ONE fluid program.
