Verify Fixture Placement n Outlets n Lights n Switches and switch leg connectors n Miscellaneous fixtures Exhaust fan n Ceiling fan n TV n Telephone n Smoke detector n Chimes/Bells/Buzzers n
Placement of Switches n Each room MUST have at least one light controlled by a switch n Latch side of door/entrance n Outside of closets n Hallways, stairs, garage lighting controlled from both ends n Multiple switches for large rooms
Placement of Outlets n Furniture/Appliance Considerations n Living & Service areas n One outlet per 6’ of wall n No further than 6’ from each corner n Kitchen area n One outlet per 4’ of wall n Each appliance should have an outlet n Hallways n Every 15’ of wall
