Comparative adjective are use to compare differences between the two objects. Examples : He drove faster than I did. Comparative adverb are used to compare differences between two things. Example : Jim works harder than his brother.

Comparisons with noun We can use more, less, and fewer with noun phrase to create comparisons which are similar to comparative forms of adjectives and adverbs. - Uncountable nouns ; such as time, coffee, rice and milk. Use more than and less than. Example : My father enjoys eating rice more than vegetable soup. - Countable nouns ; such as pencils, cars, movies and games. Use more than and fewer than. Example : Mary has fewer pencils than Jane.
