ASSESSMENT TASK: Comparison between Narrabeen Man and another preserved person Learning intentions: We are learning to compare two historical events using primary and secondary sources to draw conclusions about the past. Draw conclusions about the usefulness of sources (ACHHS 211) Task: Prepare a fact sheet, report, poster, script for a play or narrated Power. Point presentation that compares the discovery, death, preservation and daily life of the Narrabeen Man to one of the following ancient people: - Otzi the Iceman, King Tutankhamun, Lady Dai, Tollund Man or Mungo Man.

What artefacts (if any) where found with the body? What do the artefacts or other evidence from the preserved body tell us about their daily life? What can we learn about their: job, position and/or importance in society, diet and health, cultural and/or religious beliefs. Comparison: Compare the archaeological evidence and discuss the similarities and differences between Narrabeen Man and your chosen Ancient preserved person. This section needs to be written in paragraphs and must take into account the above information.
