Step 2: Thesis This will evolve from the brainstorming. Look at your brainstorming and ask yourself… Is there something important, significant, or interesting what I want to focus on? What have I discovered about these two movies? What do I want to PROVE to the reader about these two movies? Thesis statement should mention both movies within it, as well as SHOW the reader what you will be focusing on: Example: “Although there is tremendous beauty in the seasons of autumn and spring, there also distinctions that allow each season to stand on its own”
