Comparative of Equality • as + adjective + as Bitch is as short as Evil and Stewie.

Comparative of Inferiority • less + adjective + than Chris is less fat than his father, Peter.

Comparative of Superiority 1)Short adjectives (1 syllable or 2 ending in –e or -y) • adjective + er than Stewie is younger than Meg.

There are some rules with short adjectives a) Adjectives ending in vowel + consonant, double the last consonant and then put -er than fatter than sadder than thinner than Chris is fatter than his brother Stewie.

• b) Adjectives ending in –y, change the y into i and than add er than: crazier than (crazy) Peter is lazier than his wife Lois (lazy).

c) Adjectives ending in –e, just add -r than: nicer than (nice) whiter than (white) Brian is whiter than (white) than a snowflake
