Explanation of DCP Revenue • DCP revenues are influenced by seasonal consumer purchasing behavior as well as by the timing and performance of movie releases and cable programming broadcasts. • The increase in the retail and other revenues section was primarily due to a 9% increase of higher revenues at North American and European Disney Stores that was driven by higher comparable store sales and a 6% increase resulting from the acquisition of The Disney Store Japan, which was acquired at the end of the second quarter of fiscal 2010.
