COMMUNITY IDENTITY Acknowledge how past experiences will influence the CBL experience. Weave in prior experience where applicable and also encourage new experiences. Foster integration by facilitating pre. CBL reflection.
BALANCE AND FLEXIBILITY Let students pick the organization when possible. Give choices. Build in class time for the CBL experience. Be intentional with community partners and their flexibility.
