Summary of observations Only one school met the basic standards (in one visit), but very small gap to attain it for many schools. Better compliance in program management standards than in kitchen and feeding station. More items were always present than always absent, in more items and in more schools. Additional items were present in all schools despite not meeting basic standards. There were more improvements than regressions and fluctuations, in more items and in more schools.
Validation questions How capable are schools in complying with standards? Should some additional items be realigned as basic items? In what items do schools need help, e. g. resources? What schools need help? How useful are the community monitoring data to Dep. Ed, LGU? How useful is this community monitoring exercise?
