Contraction of Nature Scapes • Meets technical requirements of Chapter 171, F. S. , • No access from City roads (dirt road through unincorporated area), • Area to be served by City of Bunnell (water and sewer), • Adjacent commercial areas are within unincorporated Flagler County or the City of Bunnell. Annexation – Graham Swamp Area • Annexation includes areas of City investment and responsibilities: – Graham Swamp Trail; – Stormwater culverts under the Lehigh Trail, ditches; and – Sewer Force Main. • Additionally, Graham Swamp Conservation Area is a significant part of the City’s stormwater management system Community Development Department
Annexation – Graham Swamp Area Subject to 3 -party Agreement between City, Flagler County, and SJRWMD. These conditions include: • Annexation does not affect Local Management Agreement between Flagler County and SJRWMD, County retains management responsibility for Graham Swamp, • The City management responsibilities include the Graham Swamp Trail and its future expansion to the Lehigh Trail, • The City, District, and the County coordinate on annexation.
