Community Corrections n Probation – Most common form of punishment in the U. S. – Community rather than imprisoned – Rules, Do’s and Don’ts n Incarceration and Probation – – – Split sentencing, combine the both Jail and prison, then probation Shock probation – go to jail or prison briefly, then probation automatically – Shock incarceration – sentences to jail/prison, after a while can ask to be released on probation
