INTRODUCTION ØChipata population stands at 455, 783 ØThree quarters of the population live in rural areas. Ø Chipata Central Constituency : has 4 wards Kapata, Msanga, Dilika and Kanjala. Ø Dilika ward was divided into 8 Sections CBMS aimed at collecting data in Dilika Ward. ØA local project working with local government & community.
Distribution of the identified institution Research comprised of a population sample of 50. The sample size was broken down as follows: Ø Teachers 40 Ø Pupils 10 The distribution and allocation of questionnaires in each institution was done by walking. And kept the record of those who were given the questionnaires for easy collection.
SAMPLING PROCEDURE Random sampling was used to select respondents from different schools. Random sampling was used in order to avoid bias since the community is too big. Purposive sampling was used in order to choose specific people who provided relevant information in this case, teachers and pupils.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY The objectives of the study were: a. To investigate the importance of teaching in local language b. Quality of Education and accessibility of education. c. Evaluation of SNDP goals strategies d. Causes of school drop outs
