OBJECTIVES • Access to information : all remote/ rural citizens • Delivery of public services – G 2 C & B 2 C • Empowerment of socially disadvantaged people for inclusive growth • Access to quality education / skill upgradation • Access to cost efficient & quality health services Create a platform to deliver Government, private and social services for benefit of the rural citizens

CSC INFRASTRUCTURE • 100 – 150 sq. ft space • Minimum 2 PCs with UPS • 2 Printers (Inkjet + Dotmatrix) • Digital / Web Camera • Genset / Inverter • OS and other software • Wired / Wireless Broadband Connectivity Thrust on Connectivity – Own arrangement by SCAs – BSNL (Rs 880 Cr allocated by GOI) – Broadband / Wimax connectivity at all 100, 000 CSC locations by Dec 09 Investment : Rs 1. 5 to 2 lakhs per CSC
