Directions: ◦ 1. One member of your group will need to be the recorder for your group. ◦ 2. On one piece of paper, you will record the responses from your group. ◦ 3. Each person is to have a voice and be respected. ◦ 4. At the end, one person will be the spokesperson for the group, reporting out the information collected.

On your paper ◦ Fold your paper the long way (hot dog) into the number of columns as the number of people in your group PLUS one column. ◦ For example, if there are 3 people (including you) in the group, fold the paper into 4 columns. ◦ If there are 4 people, fold the paper into 5 columns and if there are 5 people, fold the paper into 6 columns. Question 1 ◦ Each person name their favorite music artist/group.

Question 2 ◦ Each person name which middle school they attended.

Question 3 ◦ Each person name their favorite movie.

Question 4 ◦ Each person name their favorite T. V. show.

Question 5 ◦ Each person name their favorite color.

Question 6 ◦ Each person name a club/sport/team/activity you want to join at this high school.

Question 7 ◦ Each person name their dream job.

Question 8 ◦ Each person share the number of siblings.

Question 9 ◦ Each person name their favorite food.

Question 10 ◦ Each person name their biggest fear/worry about high school.

Tally results ◦ At the end of this activity, try to see if each member has at least one thing in common with another group member (and write down names of the people in your group and what they have in common at bottom of the paper). ◦ For example, Ronna and Brian both like peanut butter cup ice cream. ◦ Bonus, see how many members in you group you have something in common with.
