Some Important Questions • Is the injection/experimental insertion OK? – Can we have 700 m for injection followed by 700 m for the experiment? – What if we combine the two systems? – Brennan, Wolfgang, Florian, Andrei, Rogelio, Werner, me to get together • Is the extraction insertion long enough? – Good news from the extraction team – Is the protection good enough (not followed by betatron collimation any more) – Should discuss this in this meeting October 13 • Design of energy collimation system – Need improved lattice design compared to Rome – What are the losses in the arcs? • The betatron collimation system should fit unmodified – Should also work on improved system • Improved design of dispersion suppressors with protection is required – Worked on for the betatron collimation system – Hopefully can use similar system elsewhere – Maria, Antoine, Andy, Francesco, Davide, Ezio, Alex, … • Need to make new integrated lattice – Check aperture
