Bell Challenge Invitation to Imitate Invitation to Share and Celebrate Review the model sentence and the imitation sentence. Use your *READER’s EYES and *WRITER’s EYES to write your imitation sentence. If it is your turn, read your imitation to the class twice. READER’s EYES – Study the patterns and conventions the writer of the model sentence uses. If it is another student’s turn, listen. Clap for fellow writers after the second reading.

You will have 20 minutes to complete the quiz. After 20 minutes all grades are final, so use your time wisely. Use the R. A. C. E. strategy to answer the 2 short answer questions.

Assessment: Central Idea, Supporting Details, & Accurate Summaries You will read the article “Snow Way” by Beth Geiger and complete 6 question assessment. You must annotate appropriately on the text to receive full points. You have 1 short answer question & you must use the R. A. C. E. Strategy. You will have 25 minutes to complete the assessment, after this time the grades will be final.

Exit Ticket Completion Complete activities for Monday – Thursday. Monday: 1 – 5 ONLY write the sentence if it is sentence fragment (correct the fragment). 6 – 10 Write each sentence & add the correct punctuation.
