16 So It is Finished!!!!!! let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. 18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God. (Colossians 2: 16 -19 NKJ) What is Finished? Everything that we might think we have to finish or complete to be righteous.

Dead men do not live according to the basis principles of the world. Dead men are really not living in the or for world. Dead men are not subject to regulations. What is Finished? What is Finished? Everything that we might think we have to finish or complete to be righteous.

What is Finished? my attempts, my self-imposed religion, selfdetermination, and trust in my will-power, false humility, my trying. My dead man attempts at godliness.

Evidence of the new man – not sure how it is happening. Definitely not my doing! Don’t want to give a “it’s all God” – spiritual sounding answer. What is Finished? Even my self-understanding. Acknowledging God, but not even so sure about how that is happening.

What is Finished? Everything that has stood in the way of my living an absolutely free life simply and solely before my creator.
