Auburn University Location: Auburn, Alabama Size: 20, 000 Undergraduates Fun Facts: Loveliest Village On the Plains and known for its friendliness. CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, is an Auburn Alum Hey Day: Each year a day is dedicated to saying "hey" to each other. “War Eagle” said to greet a fellow Auburn alum Hosts the Southeastern Raptor Center. Cancer research is a top focus of the College of Veterinary Medicine, one of the few veterinary colleges in the country with an on-campus linear accelerator, MRI and CT-scan.
