Expected Credit Evaluation (ECE) Form • Helps determine potential college credits earned while in high school (i. e. AP, IB, AICE, Dual Enrollment, CLEP, DLPT, DANTES, UExcel). • Easy to use & can be updated instantly at any time. • Aids advisors in planning your course schedule.

Enter the credits you have earned or expect to earn. • Credits are not officially awarded based on this form, but on your final transcripts sent to Undergraduate Admissions.
General Education Program (GEP) Form • GEP form can be found on the Freshman Orientation – Class of 2024 Webpage or by clicking here: [insert hyperlink when avail] • Helps track the required GEP courses you have completed and which you still need to take. • Note: Note If you have an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from a State of Florida College or University, you have met all of the GEP requirements.
General Education Program (GEP) Form (cont’d) The General Education Program (GEP) consists of 5 Foundation Areas that contain a total of 12 GEP Course requirements: Foundation Area to Complete GEP Areas to Choose Classes Communication Foundation: Historical & Cultural Foundation: Mathematical Foundation: Social Foundation: Science Foundation: GEP 1, GEP 2, GEP 3 GEP 4, GEP 5, GEP 6 GEP 7 & GEP 8 GEP 9 & GEP 10 GEP 11 & GEP 12 Complete at least 1 course per GEP area (depending on major) Expected credit may satisfy some required GEP courses A student’s major can sometimes determine how certain GEP areas are completed (demonstrated by green highlighted courses).
♢ Diamond = One State Core course required per each of the Five Foundations GRW = Gordon Rule Writing class (must earn a ‘C-’ or better) § GRW courses may be more writing intensive compared to others § Four courses required § ENC 1101 and ENC 1102 both count as GRW courses GEP Guide GRM = Gordon Rule Math class (must earn a ‘C-’ or better) § Two courses required: One from GEP 7, and One from GEP 8 § MAT 1033 Intermediate Algebra does NOT fulfill GEP or Gordon Rule Math CL =Civic Literacy Requirement § One course (3 credit hours) required from GEP 10 § Choose either AMH 2020 or POS 2041 This is the key to understanding the additional requirements of UCF’s General Education Program Located bottom-right of GEP Form
