COLLEGE OF ALAMEDA: INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS COMMITTEE (OUTCOMES*) 1. Engage the entire campus community by encouraging best practices in educational assessment and institutional effectiveness. 2. Establish and disseminate clear, current, and accessible practices for assessing effectiveness. 3. Support continuous assessment of each course program & the entire institution by selecting practices that are a “good fit” for COA. 4. Provide collaborative leadership and make recommendations during the assessment process. 5. Ensure that the results of assessment findings are used for program improvement.
