Our latest Proudly South African developed products are our unique cost effective solution to do Micro Trenching Backfill for the Telecommunication Industry to ensure faster deployment of Optic Fibre connections to homes and businesses. Our products are used for road maintenance, repair of potholes, repair of uneven surfaces and repair of cracks in roads, pathways or concrete slabs. We also specialize in the repair and replacement of expansion joints. In addition tennis courts, netball courts, golf bunkers, dams, fish ponds, swimming pools, driveways and parking areas can be built, sealed or rejuvenated with these superior products.

These Asphalt and liquid products were developed in the 1990’s in conjunction with the CSIR and are unique due to the utilization of manual labour skills and low cost equipment (tools). Most of all: Our Cold Asphalt conforms to all SABS specifications laid down by authorities for Hot Asphalt. Mostly normal road maintenance is done by road teams using concrete mixers, bitumen (heated or cold), sand stone that has to be carted to different sites, some very remote. The process is lengthy, uneconomical and in many instances prevailing site conditions lead to poor quality work. Material waste along the road is inevitable resulting in the contamination of the environment along these roads. With ROADCHEM ready mixed Cold Asphalt, pre-packed into 25 kg bags, that have a rack life of 12 months, is taken to site with a LDV and installed with minimal and cheap equipment ensuring no product waste or environmental contamination. ROADCHEM is passionate about skills transfer and saving our customers money, therefore we encourage a process where we train and certify the In-house Maintenance Staff of the customer to do the application of our products themselves. To ensure constant quality a quality control process is then negotiated between the customer and ourselves. The Manufacturing plant is situated to the West of Pretoria with plans to expand manufacturing plants under license across Southern Africa.
