Youth Program Overview • 19 th year managing Alternative Education (Alt Ed) Program • 6 Accredited Schools - Bend, La Pine, Lakeview, Prineville, Redmond, and Deschutes Co. Juvenile Corrections • Average Enrollment 300, with over 800 students served per year • There are 65 smaller school districts in Oregon! • 21 FTE – 1 Administrator, 14 teachers, 5 employment counselors • Strong partnership with Central and South Central Oregon school districts
Youth Program COIC Alternative High School program: • Serve At-Risk Students who have struggled in traditional settings • Credit Recovery leading to HS diploma • GED • Basic Skills enhancement • Essential Skills • Extensive diagnostic assessments
