THRAC: Mission • Created and populated by the Town Manager November, 2016 • Responsible for gathering input from citizens and staff, reviewing conceptual designs, making recommendations and acting in an advisory capacity for all aspects of the renovation and/or reconstruction of the Cohasset Town Hall.

THRAC: Design Contract • Per agreement, MK&A will prepare a space programming and feasibility study which will include evaluating 2 or 3 schemes at alternate locations. • Tasks will include: – Inspection of existing TH and evaluation of existing conditions – Review and update of previously completed space programming – Structural analysis (focus on original roof trusses and 1928 trusses) – Municipal and stakeholder meetings, including identifying financial parameters – Conceptual design – Project cost estimating – Presentations to BOS, Capital, and CPC

THRAC: Design Contract (cont’d) • Alternate site evaluation criteria may include, but are not limited to: – Site: Size, shape, frontage, zoning, setbacks, existing condition, slopes, soils, drainage, wetlands, access, traffic impact – Available utilities: Water, sewer, electricity, fiber – Cost – Disruption: Town employees, community – “Is this where the residents of Cohasset want their Town Hall to be? ”
