Administering the test 1. Load the pre-made slides into your session 2. Make sure all students can be observed on camera 3. Students will need to sign honor code statement on screen and screen should be recorded 4. Log into correct test session and copy session code 5. Share the student link for students to sign in(located in Assessments website) 6. Share session code with students a. If a student needs extended time or is in a different grade, make sure they have a separate test session set up with a unique session code. b. If a student log-in isn’t working, use the Student Look-up button to make sure the correct birthday and Student ID are being used. Remind students to be careful with copy/paste 7. One proctor can make phone calls to missing students to remind them to log-in as the other gets students to the log-in page and signed in – Don’t start the session until all students are ready!

Test Options Continue Testing All – Use when students are done with a subtest to move to the next subtest End Testing All – This is only used if the test is divided into different days. Since we don’t do this, don’t use this option. Pause – use when giving a break to all students Exit All – Only use when the students are at the end of all 9 subtests. Otherwise a new session will have to be created Cancel All- don’t use Extend Time All – only use with accommodated students in their own session (Add 5 extra minutes of time)
Accommodations Extended Time – noted as “X” on Meeting Link Schedule Create a new session for these students so they have their own session code and can test at their pace. Add 5 minutes per subtest as they begin each new subtest. One-on-One – noted as “ 1” on Meeting Link Schedule These may need a separate session created within a different zoom room. If this will be an issue (i. e. – only 2 proctors and one has to leave halfway through the test to teach a class), please let Melissa know so other arrangements can be made
In Testing Nirvana, in the test session, select “Attendance” on the left hand side Attendance Search by date and site (proctor names) Update attendance based on the options listed. If all attended, mark “All Attended” at top of chart.
If a student or parent lets you know they have decided not to test, mark as Negative in Testing Nirvana and send them the opt-out link to complete Make-Up Policy If a student is unconfirmed, is a no-show for a test and isn’t responding to communication, attempt communication 5 times and then refer them to Melissa Carpenter to pursue. If a student confirms and misses the initial session, reschedule them for a make-up. If they no-show a second time, pursue the opt-out by sending the link.
