COMPONENTS OF KIT • 1 st layer- absorptive polyurethane foam, with odour and itch control • 2 nd layer- cohesive elastic bandage
APPLICATION • Foam layer- with foot in dorsiflexion “toes to nose”, apply blue side to skin in spiral pattern with overlap from base of toes to below knee, leaving plantar surface of heel exposed. Tape the end. • .
APPLICATION • Cohesive bandage layer- with foot in dorsiflexion, apply in spiral pattern with 50% overlap from base of toes to below knee, covering heel this time. Apply with 75 -100% stretch depending on tolerance of patient.
APPLICATION • Mould both layers together by pressing gently but firmly. • Apply stocking over the top to reduce friction on clothing and bedding.

COFLEX TLC ZINC OR CALAMINE • Provide 25 -30 mm. Hg pressure • Designed for patients with ABI ≥ 0. 5 • Contains either zinc or calamine • Preserved/non sterile
APPLICATION • As for Coflex TLC and TLC Lite
