SUSY Di-photon Search (I) • General Gauge Mediated (GGM) Sypersymmetry breaking can produce events

SUSY Di-photon Search (I) • General Gauge Mediated (GGM) Sypersymmetry breaking can produce events with double photons jets, and significant missing energy • Interpreted in T 5 gg simplified model framework • Final signature will be two photons , Missing Energy and jets CMS-GR-Meeting 11/1/2017

• • SUSY Di-photon Search (II) This a continuation of previous work done by Iasonas Topsis-Giotis as part of his thesis and the final paper is under preparation: SUS-15 -012, AN-2015/251 Lisa Paspalaki checked with 2016 data using ABCD method, ND = NC*NB/NA for two uncorrelated variables – MET Significance vs ST, where ST is the Scalar Sum of the transverse energy of all jets, photons, electrons and fakes in an event and MET Significance = MHT/sqrt(HT), where MHT is the magnitute of the vector sum of all jets, photons, electrons and fakes in an event and HT is the scalar sum of the transverse energy of all jets in an event CMS-GR-Meeting 11/1/2017

Conclusions • T 5 gg analysis using 2016 data is processing smoothly by Lisa based on the work of Iasonas’s thesis • tt. H, H->bb all hadronic just started using MVA tools in collaboration with the NTUA group. • Both these subjects are part of Lisa’s thesis. CMS-GR-Meeting 11/1/2017
