Hints New ways of dealing with old issues Keep application budgets reasonable eg We have never funded $100 k grant (go multiple smaller grants) Check out who else is doing what you propose doing we are concerned about duplication Have local partners and describe these in your application We don’t fund core activities of a service but additional projects that add value to the service 12
Hints Do not leave until the last day to submit time building partnerships, establishing your case spend 13
