Clinical Research Patient Registration • Step One: GENERAL REGISTRATION • Registering New Patients: All research participants enrolled in an applicable clinical research study conducted at UTHealth must have a medical record number (MRN) in GE Centricity/All. Scripts. STEP TWO: RESEARCH REGISTRATION (“RESEARCH FLAG”) • Flagging the patient as a “Research Participant” in GE will automatically interface to ALLSCRIPTS • All Clinicians will know patient is participating in a research study • Biller/Coders will use additional caution entering charges
