Overview p. MDQ Incubator activity tries to solve/shorten the latencies introduced by the edu. GAIN federation caused by specifically timed downloads of aggregate metadata. p. MDQ tries to move towards notification based downloads so that there’s less overhead and improved up-to-dateness. One path that is being explored is using MDQ + Web. Sub and/or Webhooks as a notification protocol. 2 www. geant. org
