Neighbourhood Policing • Attendance by Neighbourhood Officers across the district at Residents’ Meetings to disseminate feedback into policing issues • Beat and Ward surgeries, held in conjunction with Local Councillor, exist in every ward • Identification of repeat callers / victims through JAG analysis; all those identified are given a personal visit in addition to normal response to a call for service
Neighbourhood Policing • Directed high visibility patrols by NH Support Teams and operations conducted in and around hot spot areas of the district • Pilot scheme whereby PCSOs attend and take reports in all instances of minor crime, which would have normally been dealt with by telephone, with a view to: – Increase contact with public – Increase flow of community intelligence – Further the aims of Citizen Focussed Policing
