The mandate of the Clean Economy Alliance is to support the development and implementation of an effective capand-trade program and climate change strategy and action plan that provides economic, social, health and environmental benefits for Ontarians.

Draft 2018 -2022 CEA Goals 1. Ontario has some form of carbon pricing. Examples of how this goal could take shape: – Demonstrate multi-sector support for federal carbon tax action – Show support for reinvesting federal proceeds into programs to help industry shift to low carbon solutions – Engage CEA members in a workshop to gather input on federal program spending in Ontario

Examples of how this goal could take shape: – Communications plan to champion member-led climate solutions i. e. clean technology, clean investing, green building – Strong public statement expressing multi-sector support for climate action – Communications plan to raise awareness of health impacts of climate change
